Also visit the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcala and The Prado Museum. We will discover contemporary Madrid with avenues such as Gran Via, Castellana, Salamanca district, Plaza de Castilla, Parque Del Oeste, University Campus, the emblematic Las Ventas Bullring and the Santiago Bernabeu Football Stadium. Early morning, checkout from your hotel and transfer to the airport to board your flight for Barcelona. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and leave your luggage and proceed for a half day afternoon Gaudi Architecture tour of Barcelona. Visit Sagrada Familia Basilica, where you'll take an exterior walking tour, followed by a visit to Gaudi's Parc Guell which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Moving on we continue to Paseo de Gracia to see Gaudi's famous apartment buildings like La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. Overnight at your hotel in Barcelona.

Day 07 - Barcelona Half Day City Tour
After breakfast, proceed for a half day Barcelona city Tour. Explore Plaza de Cataluna, Via Laietana, the Cathedral and its cloister, Gothic Quarter, Plaza Sant Jaume (Generalitat and Town Hall). You will continue on to the Villa Olimpica (athletes' residential complex during the Olympics) and the Port Olympic (Olimpic harbor). Later on, you will ascend Montjuic Mountain, that offers a panoramic view of the city and harbor. Tour the Olympic Stadium, Palau Sant Jordi and Calatrava Tower. Visit the Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) which reproduces the most typical regional architectural styles in Spain. Here you will also be able to taste Catalan Cava; the renowned local sparkling wine. The second half of the day is free on your own.Overnight at your hotel in Barcelona.

After driving through picturesque little villages you will arrive at the incomparable setting of the mountain of Montserrat, which rises majestically to 4,051 feet (1,235 meters). Next visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, which holds the famous 12th century Romanesque carving of Virgen Moreneta, the Black Virgin. The Royal Basilica has been one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Spain for hundreds of years. On some days the children's choir sings in the monastery at midday, and so you may be fortunate enough to catch one of their delightful performances.
