First, take a train from Interlaken Ost station to Lauterbrunnen station where you get down and take the Gondola Ride adjacent to the station to go all the up to Grutschalp where you change of to a scenic train journey all the way to the traffic free village of Murren. During certain time periods in summer and autumn you can visit Allmendhubel, located at 6257 feet and reachable by a five minute train ride from Murren (this ride is chargeable). You can even try a local lunch at the Panorama Restaurant, kids can play at the adventure playground or you can even explore the Flower Trail on the created walking path there. After returning back to Murren you can take the cable car a level up to Birg. Suggest you to go for the Thrill Walk that leads down into the vertical walls of the imposing rock massif. Visitors walk along a 200-metre cliff pathway under Birg cableway station. Next try the Skyline Walk that opens up new perspectives. This platform is situated over a vertical precipice, offering stunning and exhilarating panoramic views! Next, take the cable car to Schilthorn which is the top. Here is the famous revolving restaurant Piz Gloria (at 9744 ft.) that turns around its own axis in 55 minutes, allowing the most fabulous natural scenery of the whole Alpine. There is a 007 museum on the top, as well as an outside walkway with the cast from "Her Majesty's Secret Service", which was filmed on site. If you are James Bond enthusiast, this is your dream come true and, if you are not, you will be one by the time you leave. Even the bathrooms carry on the Bond theme. On the Schilthorn Ridge, far from the summit hustle and bustle, three spacious loungers invite you to linger with spellbinding mountain and lake views stretching to the horizon. On your return journey if you are not so tired then suggest you to again get off at Murren again and this time take the scenic walk to the next cable car station of Gimmelwald. On the way you will see swiss farms, small waterfalls and stunning mountain views. Once you arrive at the baeutifull Swiss village of Gimmelwald, admire this traffic free village's beauty before hopping on to the cable car down to Stechelberg. There is a charge though to go up the falls. After returning down, catch a bus to Lauterbrunnen station where you can change trains to reach back Interlaken Ost.
